Crumpets and other hot plate products can be a food poisoning risk - but the addition of a preservative keeps them safe. This achievement required laboratory and production trials and an application to amend the Food Standards Code.

Understanding the factors that allow innovation to flourish through a technology, and industry sector or place,  is a science, not a lucky guess. We have studied and proven the applicability of system thinking to the innovation process.
